Do some research and decide which business bank suits you best. I’m with CBA (Australian).
I chose them because they have the best online banking facilities and 24 hour phone support. Personally I wasn’t too concerned with interest rates and transaction rates, if a few dollars here and there is going to make a difference to your bottom line, then you’ve got bigger issues elsewhere!
Another thing to consider is your banks merchant facilities. Eventually you’re going to want the ability to charge your clients credit cards, so make sure your bank can handle that. Most do these days.
When you’re setting up your bank account, ask the teller about their merchant facilities. I had to wait a few months before CBA accepted my merchant application, but it can’t hurt to ask straight away.
Next step is setting up the customer facing part of your business, which in this case is simply your website.
